How it Works

The Ascendance Program is Aborean’s long-term alignment initiative, designed to reward users who lock ABX and participate in governance. It blends emission-based rebates with competitive seasonal incentives, ensuring that the most committed members of the ecosystem rise in both influence and recognition.


Core Mechanics

  • Total Allocation: 10% of ABX supply (50,000,000 ABX).

  • Distribution Cadence: rewards are released in seasons, each lasting four weeks.

  • Seasonal Release: Season 1 releases rebates at 100% of the voting power created. Each following season releases 70% of the previous season’s allocation.

  • Emission Curve: this creates a smooth geometric taper that gradually extends the reward program over multiple years, maintaining sustainability while keeping participation highly rewarding in the near term.


Seasonal Rewards

Rewards are distributed to participants who lock ABX as veABX during each season. Participants receive:

veABX Rebates: rebated directly in proportion to the new veABX created during that season. In week 1 of a new season, rebates begin at 100% (a full match of veABX created). Each new season’s total rebate pool equals 70% of the previous season’s, ensuring long-term reward longevity.

Extras (“Ascendance Perks”): additional incentives or exclusive benefits distributed at the end of each season to top lockers on the Ascendance Leaderboard.
